Change who can add custom emoji

This feature is only available to organization owners and administrators.

By default, anyone other than guests can add custom emoji to the organization. However, you can restrict the permission to add custom emoji to other sets of roles:

  • Organization administrators
  • Organization administrators and moderators
  • Organization administrators and all members
  • Organization administrators and full members

Change who can add custom emoji

  1. Click on the gear () icon in the upper right corner of the web or desktop app.

  2. Select Manage organization.

  3. On the left, click Organization permissions.

  4. Under Other permissions, configure Who can add custom emoji.

  5. Click Save changes.
