Change your profile picture

When you first create an account, Zulip uses an image generated by Gravatar as your profile picture. If your email address already has a gravatar associated with it, Zulip will use your existing gravatar.

Upload a custom profile picture when you configure your Zulip account.

Change your profile picture

Section titled “Change your profile picture”
  1. Click on the gear () icon in the upper right corner of the web or desktop app.
  2. Select Personal settings.
  3. On the left, click Profile.
  4. Click on your profile picture on the right, and choose an image to upload.
  5. Crop the image as desired, and click Save changes.

Reset your profile picture to default

  1. Click on the gear () icon in the upper right corner of the web or desktop app.
  2. Select Personal settings.
  3. On the left, click Profile.
  4. Hover over your profile picture on the right, and click the icon in the top right corner.
  5. Approve by clicking Confirm.
